P13 HOCKEY SCHOOL

Serving youth from Fort Wayne Indiana and all over the Midwest!

We give hockey players the tools and confidence to take their game to the next level.

This is a camp run by professional hockey players that gives students a first-hand experience of the work it takes to make it to the next level.

About Anthony

P13 Hockey School was founded and is ran by current professional ice hockey player Anthony Petruzzelli.

He was born and raised in the suburbs of Seattle, WA where he first started playing hockey at the age of 3 for a local youth hockey association.

Following his 4-year collegiate career he signed with the Fort Wayne Komets of the ECHL where he played 6 seasons for the K’s, serving 2 seasons as assistant captain and another 2 seasons as the captain amassing 370 games played and scoring 237 points.

In his time with the Komets, Anthony was a part of the 2021 ECHL Championship team that saw the Komets win their first ever Kelly Cup.

During his time in Fort Wayne, he also earned a call-up to the Chicago Wolves of the AHL in 2019 where he appeared in 4 games before returning to the Komets.

During his Junior career he won:

  • Norpac Championship

  • USA Junior A National Championship

  • 2 AJHL Championships

  • RBC Cup Canadian Junior A National Championship

… while earning a scholarship to play division 1 NCAA ice hockey at the University of Vermont.

Anthony spent 2014-2018 at the University of Vermont playing in Hockey East recording 140 games played. He was assistant captain for 3 seasons while completing a business degree.

A note from Anthony:

I have been involved in youth hockey my entire life helping as much as I can to give back to local programs near me, while also coaching numerous AAA hockey teams.

The idea of coaching hockey camps started when I was coaching a city run summer hockey camp in Vermont that was in need of people with a hockey background, where I took over as head coach and operator.

This camp ran for 5 years before I moved to Fort Wayne and started to work with local youth players where I realized the impact we as pro hockey players can have on kids in the community by providing them a relationship that builds trust and passing on knowledge that has been learned from over 27 years of hockey.

Eventually this led to me starting my own hockey camp in Fort Wayne in 2023 where we provided the kids with pro hockey players as instructors.

It included some of their favorite ECHL players in a fun and fast paced environment to facilitate skill development on and off ice.

The camp was a major success and we hope that we can continue to grow and encourage the development of youth hockey in the Midwest!
